Alerion was represented at the annual conference of the International Bar Association (IBA) in Seoul by four partners : Jacques Bouyssou, Nicola Kömpf, Philippe Pescayre, and Corinne Thiérache.
Like every year since 2009, the firm organised a reception during the IBA week for colleagues from all around the world, which was held on September 24, 2019 in the Raum.

Jacques Bouyssou represented Alerion at the IBA Litigation Forum in Berlin, the largest event for international litigators. Jacques met with lawyers from all over the globe to share experience and knowledge on Geopolitics in Court and Disputes arising from Artificial Intelligence.

Alerion is internally promoted Jean-Christophe Brun as a new partner in the Employment Law Department.
Jean-Christophe Brun has been a lawyer at the Paris bar since 2004 and joined Alerion’s Employment Law Department in 2012, working in all areas of labour law and social security law, both in an advisory capacity and in the field of litigation, where which he has developed special expertise.
As a new partner in the Employment Law Department, Jean-Christophe, with a dedicated team, will be tasked with continuing to develop the department’s litigation activity, assisting the firm’s clients before the labour courts (dismissals, harassment, overtime), social security courts (URSSAF reassessment, occupational accidents), magistrate’s courts (electoral disputes) and criminal courts (criminal law related to employment).

The 8th of March 2018, under the aegis of CEGID, Frédéric Saffroy delivered a presentation on the implications of the GDPR on employment law and human resources during a morning debate animated by members of Microsoft France, PwC, PeopleDoc and Securitrust. CEGID is a leading provider of management solutions, mainly in human resource management (talent management) and payroll services.
Alerion (Frédéric Saffroy, Louise Ferreira) assisted Airbus Defence and Space during their merger with their subsidiary, Signalis. Signalis provides systems, supports and services worldwide for coastal surveillance, and vessel traffic management and surveillance.
Alerion (Frédéric Saffroy, Louise Ferreira, Jérémie Mancel – Cottrel) assisted Airbus Defence and Space during their merger with Airbus Military France. This subsidiary handled supply contracts with the French Air Force for the Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft, based on the civil Airbus A330. The 2018-2025 Military Programme Law, presented on the 8th of February 2018, plans for an order of 15 MRTTs.
