Nicola Kömpf

Nicola Kömpf mainly advises and represents clients in French and German corporate and commercial law matters. She has recognized qualifications in the areas of negotiating and drafting contracts, employment law, insolvency proceedings, commercial litigation and arbitration. Her clients primarily include French and German companies operating in the French-German and international markets.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 1993, Nicola started her career as an associate at the law firm Bernard Hertz Béjot, while also pursuing her studies in German law to later become admitted to the Berlin Bar in 1997. She became a partner at Bernard Hertz Béjot in 2000 and then joined the firm PDGB in 2011, where she was the partner in charge of the French-German practice. Since October 2015, she joined Alerion as the partner in charge of the German desk.

Nicola holds a post-graduate degree (DEA) in Business Law (1991) and a master’s degree in Private Law (1990) both from the University of Paris I La Sorbonne. She is also the author of numerous articles in French-German business law.

Nicola is a member of the Executive Committee of the Deutsch-Französische Juristenvereinigung (DFJ), the Association des Juristes Français et Allemands (AJFA), the Association of German Lawyers Admitted to a Foreign Bar and Vice-President of the Legal Committee of the French-German Chamber of Commerce in Paris. Nicola is a member of the IBA (International Bar Association).
