Luana Nilsen

Luana Nilsen is an Associate in the Litigation, Arbitration, and White-Collar Crime department at Alerion, where she also contributes to the development of the firm’s Spanish & LatAm Desk.

As a dual national of Norway and Spain, Luana represents both French and international clients before state courts and arbitral tribunals in complex commercial and international disputes. She has particular expertise in international arbitration, notably under the rules of ICSID and the ICC.

Prior to joining Alerion, Luana gained experience at leading international law firms in Paris, as well as within a prominent arbitral institution and various international organizations.

Admitted to the Paris Bar, she holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, in International Economic Law and in the Law of International Organizations.

Luana is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Norwegian. She regularly contributes commentary on recent developments in arbitration case law in specialized legal journals, including the Spanish publication La Ley – Mediación y Arbitraje.
