Muriel Guillin-Modaine

Muriel Guillin-Modaine is a partner in the Real Estate and Construction Law department. She advises French and international clients on all issues related to real estate and construction transactions, both in an advisory capacity and in litigation.

She handles cases involving real estate asset transfers (sales and acquisitions of property and/or real estate rights), real estate project structuring, real estate development (property development contracts, works contracts, project management contracts, assistance with acceptance procedures and legal and contractual guarantees) and commercial leases.

Muriel is involved in transactions involving all types of real estate assets, including industrial sites, warehouses, logistics platforms, offices and mixed-use buildings.

She also advises companies on environmental issues, particularly with regard to the remediation of polluted sites and the implementation of environmental obligations. She has also developed specific expertise in sustainability issues, particularly those related to the CSRD, the duty of care and the CS3D.

Muriel is recognised for her ability to handle complex transactions involving cross-cutting legal, technical and regulatory issues.

A member of the Paris Bar since 1997, Muriel Guillin-Modaine holds a postgraduate degree in agri-food law – European law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, a master's degree in private law from the same university, and a preparatory diploma in accounting and finance. In 2024, she also obtained a sustainability auditor certificate.
