Alerion Avocats Advises Step Pharma on its €38 Million Fundraising
Founded in 2014 by Kurma Partners, the Imagine Institute and Sygnature Discovery, based on the discoveries of Professor Alain Fischer and Dr. Sylvain Latour, Step Pharma’s mission is to transform cancer treatment through targeted therapies capable of destroying cancer cells while preserving healthy ones.
This significant €38 million Series C fundraising will enable the company to accelerate the development of dencatistat, an oral CTPS1 inhibitor currently being developed for the treatment of cancers and hematologic diseases.
The advisory team was composed of Pierre-Olivier Brouard (partner), Benoit Deramoudt (counsel) and Tom Ha (associate).
