Frédéric Saffroy joined Alérion’s Competition-Distribution-Contract Law Department in May 2010.
Frédéric began his career at Dunlop France in 1991, before joining Thomas & Associés law firm in 1993, and Hoche law firm in 1996.
He joined Hammonds Hausmann law firm in 2000 where he headed the Commercial & Intellectual Property department from 2002 to 2010.

• Contract Law : Partnerships (JV, GME, etc.), R&D Agreements, Supply/Sourcing Agreements, Distribution/Agency Agreements, Outsourcing Agreements, Financing Agreements, etc. in both domestic & international environments.
• Competition : Mergers, Anti-trust, Abuse of dominant situation, etc. from Dawn Raids through to hearings before the Authorities and the Courts (French & European proceedings).
• Intellectual Property : parallel imports, IP infringements (Trademarks, Patents, Data-Bases).

Frédéric Saffroy has a Doctorate in History (Centre d’Hisoire de Sciences-Po 2011) and is a graduate of Sciences-Po (Economy & Finance - 1991). Frédéric also holds a DEA postgraduate degree in European Law (Paris II - Pantheon Assas – 1993).
His thesis deals with the legal, political, diplomatical, strategical and military aspects of the defense of the maritime borders of Mediteranean France in the first part of the XXth Century.
Frédéric regularly works with the research centers of the French Navy Historical Center (SHD-Marine), the CHEAr (Centre des hautes études de l’armement / IHEDN) and of the US Naval Institute.
